A fundraiser for Environmental Voter Project & Climate Families NYC
🗓️ September 6, 2024
🕠 5.30pm - 7.30pm
📍 Prospect Park Carousel [map]
The climate stakes of this election couldn’t be higher. Moreover, our movement’s ability to protest publicly and freely is on the line too. So we’re hosting a fundraiser for Environmental Voter Project, which does crucial non-partisan work identifying low propensity voters for whom climate is their TOP issue in swing states.
100% of ticket sales will go to Environmental Voter Project.
On the day you and your kids will be able to take action on climate, write postcards to voters, and sign up for phonebanks while also enjoying carousel rides, music by Esther Crow, drinks, pizza, face painting, and the company of other families!
We’ll also have a bake sale and a fabulous silent auction where you can bid for goodies from local businesses and providers.
The auction and bake sale will benefit Climate Families, so that after climate candidates win in 2024, we have the resources to push them to enact the boldest, most comprehensive climate justice policies.
